The second product line, Motus Localize, provides precise living-cost calculations and comprehensive reports for accurate relocation packages. These reports can be used for budgeting purposes or to determine allowances for home finding, temporary living, final moves, and other related expenses.
Over the past year, Motus has introduced significant enhancements to its vehicle reimbursement platform, offering increased visibility and control. Among these updates are the introduction of weekly and biweekly cents-per-mile (CPM) reimbursement programs, further expanding the range of solutions available to businesses aiming to optimize total vehicle reimbursement spend across the enterprise. Additionally, Motus launched Motus Perks, providing personalized and relevant discounts to support drivers both on the road and at home. Moreover, the company introduced Motus Insights, a reporting module designed to offer vehicle reimbursement program administrators fast and highly flexible tools to manage and optimize their programs.
As electric vehicles increase in popularity and production, Motus uses calculations from the EPA’s Miles per gallon-equivalent (MPGe) which is a way to measure an electric vehicle’s energy consumption so that customers can provide fair and accurate reimbursements for their drivers who use electric vehicles.
Motus continues to advise the IRS on the costs of driving, leveraging insights captured from the world’s largest retained pool of drivers. By analyzing automotive trends from the preceding year, the IRS determines the annual busines milage standard rate – an essential benchmark for deducting business vehicle expenses. The cost data and analysis provided by Motus have been the cornerstone of the IRS business mileage standard for over four decades now.
Motus’ FAVR (fixed and variable rate reimbursement) product was named as the winner in the automotive category of the BIG Innovation awards, which recognizes the people, organizations, and ideas changing how we experience the world. And the company has been shortlisted for The Cloud Awards in the best software as a service category. The Cloud Awards honor the best and most innovative cloud computing organizations in the industry
